Specifically designed to improve access to stowage

BOXER RECOV provides state of the art capabilities for recovery activities under combat scenarios

BOXER RECOV features a new Mission Module approach that significantly differs from the existing hull architecture. The new concept is specifically designed to improve access to stowage, which is a key operational aspect of a recovery variant. The crew of 3 is highly protected in the crew cabin in the front section. The utility equipment compartment is placed in the rear section and has no ballistic protection. This allows for a significant mass reduction.

BOXER RECOV provides state of the art capabilities for recovery activities under combat scenarios and is equipped with:

  • a hydraulic power unit (4 cylinder diesel engine),
  • a hydraulic driven earth anchor system and
  • two hydraulic driven 15 t winches with 150 m wire ropes mounted at the rear.

Equipped with the latest C4I architecture, existing Battle Management Systems can be fully integrated into the vehicle. BOXER RECOV can be operated in challenging Army Operations under all climatic conditions.

In addition to high flexibility and mobility BOXER RECOV provides its crew with extraordinary survivability and superior protection against mines (AT, AP), IEDs, highest ballistic threats (incl. artillery fragments), NBC threats and detection (radar, noise, solar loading).
