New level of Mortar mobility

The turreted compact and flexible Patria NEMO 120 mm breech-loading mortar system enables effective 360° fire upon ground targets while on the move. Direct and indirect modes of fire are available with this mortar system. A semi-automatic loading system enables a smooth and safe loading operation.

The turreted mortar system integrated into the BOXER Mission Module protects the crew from threats and weather. Furthermore, the mortar system, its ammunition, equipment and onboard tooling are stowed under protection, leaving space to stow crew equipment as well. An integrated remote controlled weapon station offers active self-protection at close ranges.

The modular design of the BOXER allows flexible adaption to future military tasks or changing requirements thanks to its common Drive Module and large number of specific, rapidly interchangeable Mission Modules. In addition to high flexibility and mobility, the BOXER 120 mm mortar provides its crew with exceptional survivability and superior protection from mines, IEDs and ballistic threats.
