System modularity enables capability growth via additional Mission Modules
Based on the unique modularity of BOXER, the BOXER family can easily support additional capabilities and roles via new variants, new technologies, or other adaptations as requested. The BOXER vehicle consist of a Drive Module and a Mission Module. The Drive Module, which is common across the family of vehicles, provides mobility, payload and protection. The Mission Module, which is unique to the vehicle variant, provides the operational capability and variant specific protection. System modularity of BOXER allows additional Mission Modules to be procured without Drive Modules, reducing the financial burden while still enabling potential capability gaps to be easily and quickly filled as needed.
