WHO WE ARE
ARTEC is the prime contractor for the armoured 8x8 BOXER vehicle, which has been developed in a joint co-operation programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany.
We are a joint venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. We are responsible for the BOXER Programme, including development, co-ordination of series production and being the focal point for any export. Our annual sales are normally between 300 and 400 million EUR and as of April more than 1,400 BOXER vehicles have been contracted for Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and the United Kingdom.
